Fortress Foundation Solutions Before & After Photos

This crawlspace in Bracey had a dirt floor and a flooding issue. The insulation was wet and falling down because of how much moisture was trapped in this crawlspace. Fortress solved these issues by encapsulating the crawlspace with a CleanSpace liner and installing a SmartSump. Now this crawlspace will not flood anymore!

Tina C. of Bracey, VA called Fortress Foundation Solutions about her damp crawl space - a perfect environment for spider to live! Tina wanted an encapsulation so the moisture would be sealed off and not cause any more damage to the wood joists. Eddie Salido, system designer, was happy to come out and provide a free inspection with an estimate. Warren Dickerson and his crew were soon onsite installing SilverGlo insulation, drainage matting and CleanSpace vapor barrier followed by a Sanidry Sedona dehumidifier. Now Tina's crawl space is clean and dry!

This customer was tired of their home suffering from sagging floors & decided to reach out to Fortress Foundation Solutions for an estimate. We sent out a system designer who did an inspection of the home and gave a proposal and quote to the homeowner. We utilized our SmartJack® crawl space support system for this project. The SmartJacks provide a solid support for sagging and undersized beams, restoring stability and straightness to sagging floor joists in a crawl space.

This home had cracked walls and water in the basement plus water in the crawl space.  Clean Space Wall was used along the front basement wall with Power Braces to stabilize the block foundation.  Waterguard was installed and a Super Sump was placed in the corner of the room. A discharge line was run through the crawl space to the outside of the home.  The crawl space had drainage matting installed and was encapsulated using Clean Space. A broken water line was discovered and repaired in the process.

The existing sump location was not ideal for the water issued that were present in the home.  A new optimal location was chosen and in conjucntion with WaterGuard the Super Sump will efficiently and effective manage the water in the space.
