Before: The homeowner in Maugansville called Fortress Foundation Solutions for assistance due to a troubling wall that had begun to shear, as shown in the first photo. Unchecked, this issue posed significant risks to their home's structural integrity.
After: By installing both GeoLock Channel Anchors and GeoLock Wall Anchors, we stabilized the wall, which you can clearly observe in the after photo. These systems not only halted further wall movement but will also aid in straightening it over time. Rest assured, we’ve helped restore property value and provide long-term peace of mind.
Jake Q., homeowner near Round Hill, VA, thought his crawl space was all sealed up since he had had plastic 'installed'. He called Fortress Foundation Solutions because his floors were cold, humidity was coming upstairs and mold was growing on the floor joists. Jamey Elder, System Designer, met with Jake and inspected the crawl space. The plastic inside the crawl space was loosely laid at best with big gaps allowing ground moisture to seep into the space. This caused mold growth - yuck! He needed insulation and an encapsulation sealing his home off from the ground. The homeowners in Powhatan, VA called Fortress Foundation Solutions with concerns about the crawl space under their home. This area was taking on water and moisture.
