This client already had a sump pump installed in crawl space, but was looking to make his crawl space even drier with a vapor barrier, so he called Fortress Foundation Solutions. Our System Designer, Chris Wilmouth, went out and gave him and estimate, which our client accepted, and shortly after, Charlie Evans and his crew went out and put down our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier all along the inside of the crawlspace. Our client loved the result and look of his clean, dry crawl space!
This customer called Fortress Foundation Solutions to get an estimate on a full crawl space encapsulation. Skylar, one of our expert System Designers went out to the property to preform an inspection and provide the customer a quote. After review the proposal and asking a few follow up questions, this customer felt confident that Fortress was the right company to do the work.
A few weeks later one of our crews went out and completed the work. We installed our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier system to the crawl space, along with a Sedona Dehumidifier system to keep the moisture at bay! This customer was very happy with the end result and is glad to have his crawl space clean and dry!
Before Fortress Foundation Solutions arrived in Faber, Virginia, this homeowner faced issues with mold, high humidity, and cold floors due to an unsealed crawl space. As you can see in the photo, these problems were visibly impactful. To address this, we installed our CleanSpace® crawl space encapsulation system. In the after photo, you can see how CleanSpace® effectively transformed the area into a clean, dry environment. The innovative 20-mil liner now protects the space against moisture and mold, restoring both comfort and stability to the homeowner’s living environment.
This customer called Fortress Foundation Solutions to get a quote for retaining wall support on a new rental property investment. The wall is located by the pool and was suffering from bowing and risked total wall failure. We went out to do an inspection and provided a quote to the customer, who decided to move forward with the work. Our crews installed our PowerBrace Wall Support solution to protect the walls from further bowing. This customer is happy to have the security of our products installed on his investment property.
In Wardensville, WV, a homeowner faced water intrusion in their basement, particularly through the underground portion of a finished wall. This problem stems from the house being built on a slope. To address this, we installed our WaterGuard system, a subfloor perimeter drainage solution, along with the TripleSafe sump pump. This combination works to effectively redirect water away from the home, ensuring a clean, dry basement space. As demonstrated in the after photo, the home is now stable and healthy, providing lasting protection against foundation seepage.
