This homeowner in Brookneal reached out to Fortress Foundation Solutions because they had a recurring issue with water seeping into the basement when it rained.

To solve this water intrusion issue, Fortress sent out our Foreman and his crew to install our WaterGuard System along the perimeter basement walls, along with a SuperSump Premier Sump Pump System. These products will work together to keep this basement dry by catching any water seepage before it reaches the basement floor, and pumping it out of the home!

This homeowner neat Augusta, WV called Fortress Foundation Solutions after cracks in the basement walls and water coming in the cracks became unmanageable. He was unable to use his basement for storage as the items became moldy. Our system designer recommended a basement water proofing system. Eager to reclaim the space, the homeowner proceeded. Soon a water proofing crew was onsite installing WaterGuard drainage, a Triple Safe Sump Pump and CleanSpace Vapor Barrier on the walls. The CleanSpace is antimicrobial and directs all water seeping through the walls down into the WaterGuard. It is then drained to the sump pump and pumped out of the home. Now this homeowner's basement is dry and the space usable again!

This home was a special project for our Fortress Foundation Solutions team.  The family residing in the home had a special need to be free of invasive water because of health concerns.  Our system designer went to this property to give the family recommendations.  He knew how important it was to the family to make sure there was no unwanted moisture coming into the home. Our crew, led by foreman Charlie Evans, went straight to work to remediate the water coming into a portion of the basement. First, they installed DryTrak around the perimeter of the affected room. They connected the DryTrak to our TripleSafe Sump Pump system with a battery backup. This family will never have to worry about flooding in this space, even if the power were to go out!
