Basement Waterproofing Before & After Photos

This homeowner had extensive water damage and a serious mold issue. Fortress Foundation Solutions solved these issues by installing a full perimeter WaterGuard with a TripleSafe Sump System. We also instaled Foamax Basement Insulation to ensure that the basement stays warm and dry!

In Charlottesville, a homeowner struggled with a persistently wet basement, as shown in the first photo. To resolve this, we installed our WaterGuard® sub-floor perimeter drainage system, effectively collecting wall and floor water seepage before it reached the basement floor. This guides the water to the TripleSafe™ sump pump system, shown in the after photo, which ensures reliable water removal, even in power failures. Thanks to these precisely designed solutions, his basement is now dry and protected, providing a secure space for storage and other uses.

This homeowner contacted Fortress Foundation Solutions because they had noticed their basement walls had started bowing inwards. Fortress went out to assess the issues this homeowner was having and reommended that they have us install our CarbonArmor Wall Reinforcing System. This system includes flexible carbon fiber fabric straps that are up to 10 times stronger in tension than steel. The greast thing about this system is that after the installation, you are still able to potentially finish your basement!

This homeowner gave Fortres a call because they had been receiving water into their basement but had no idea where the water was coming in from. One of our System Designers went out to inspect their home to see what the best solution for their home would be. 

Fortress recommended to this homeowner that they should have us install our Full Perimeter WaterGuard System along with our TripleSafe Sump Pump. Our WaterGuard System is designed to catch any water that may try to enter your basement and pushes it through to the sump pump.

Our System Designer, Scott Llewellyn, went out to assess this home and determined that the best solution would be to install our WaterGuard XL System along the perimeter of the basement, along with a SuperSump sump pump.

Our WaterGuard System is designed to capture any wall or floor seepage before it reaches the basement floor, any water will then drain to the SuperSump and be pumped out of the home. These products will work together to ensure that this homeowner will no longer have to worry about a wet basement!
