Basement Waterproofing Before & After Photos

This home in Norton, VA was having water come into the basement. This issue can become very severe leading to further problems if not taken care of in a timely manner or done correctly.  These homeowners called Fortress to get this job done right!

 Our System Designer, Robert Briggs, went out to this home and provided a free, no obligation estimate. Robert concluded the best solution to this issue would be our WaterGuard system with a SuperSump sump pump. This system gets the water to the SuperSump through the WaterGuard. The SuperSump pumps that water outside and away from the house. The final result: a clean, dry basement!

The existing sump location was not ideal for the water issued that were present in the home.  A new optimal location was chosen and in conjucntion with WaterGuard the Super Sump will efficiently and effective manage the water in the space. 

This unfinished basement in Rockingham, Virginia had some water seepiing into the home through the walls. Fortress solved this by installing our Super Sump pump and our Clean Space vapor barrier on the basement wall.

This Pounding Mill basement was moldy and water stained from repeated flooding. Fortress solved this problem by installing WaterGuard with a TripleSafe Sump System and a SaniDry XP. Now the basement will stay mold free and never flood again!

Water was coming in through the customers cinder block walls, both on the walls that met the outside and a wall that met an adjacent crawlspace. This was causing water damage to the items stored and rust on the HVAC and water heater. Another big problem was the musty odors so often associated with musty, moldy, wet basements. Fortress Foundation Solutions ran a full perimeter waterproofing system and reduced moisture from the walls with the BrightWall vapor barrier. Our SuperSump pump replaced the underperforming old pump they'd had and as a final measure, and our SaniDry air system keeps the house dry and the air clean and odor-free.
