Sumner from Fortress came out to our place to check on a foundation crack. First off, he was patient w/ me when he first arrived, as I had an unexpected work call that I had to handle. Then, instead of trying to sell me on something I didn't need, he eased my conscience by telling me that the crack almost definitely didn't need any repairing. Instead, he suggested I take some cheaper, easier water mitigation actions including extending downspouts and getting a new sump pump.
I was very happy with the entire interaction with Sumner. I will be calling him back if/when the water mitigation actions don't completely solve the issue.
