Crawl Space Repair Before & After Photos

This high crawl space in Danville, VA had moisture that was continuously in the area and it was rising throughout the home. Fortress Foundation Solutions fully encapsulated the crawl space with our Clean Space vapor barrier. 

System Designer, Caleb Stone, presented the solution of Crawl Space Encapsulation to home owners in Danville, Virginia who were struggling with mold in their crawl space. This solutions includes our Clean Space Vapor Barrier System and SaniDry Dehumidifier. These system will provide a controlled environment in the crawl space that allows them to never have to worry about mold again!  

This homeowner contacted Fortress Foundation Solutions because they noticed that the floors in their home started sagging and there was a musty smell circulating throughout their home. Fortress went out to inspect the issues that they were having and informed the homeowner that their crawl space had been receiving water, which was causing the musty smell, and the floors had started sagging because the wood beams in their crawl space had started to rot. Fortress installed our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier along with our SmartJack Crawl Space Support System. Our SmartJacks provide solid support for sagging and undersized beams. 

This customer came to Fortress Foundation Solutions with a previous encapsulation that was improperly installed. They had recurring  flooding and mold in their crawl space.  Fortress came in to rake, level, and properly install a CleanSpace liner in the customer's crawl space to ensure there would be no more mold and flooding.

The homeowner called into Fortress complaining about water and an odor coming from the crawlspace. Fortress came to the home and educated the homeowner on how a CleanSpace system with drainage not only could help with the water and the odor but also help with energy savings. This was achieved by installing a Smartsump and using the patented Cleanspace encapsulation system from Basement Systems.
