Crawl Space Repair Before & After Photos

This customer was tired of dealing with a damp, dirty crawlspace, and wanted Fortress to repair and encapsulate the space to protect against high humidity, mold, wood rot, and high energy bills. Our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier was the perfect solution for this homes problems.

The crawl space in this home in West Augusta, VA was having issues with water intrusion in the basement of the home. After calling Fortress, our System Designer was able to provide a free estimate for an encapsulation. Our Forman and his crew installed our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier, and SaniDry Dehumidifier and our SmartSump Crawl Space Sump Pump System to help keep water from making a mess in the crawl space again.

These occurred due to weakened joists and excessive spans, typical issues affecting crawl spaces. To address this problem, our team installed the SmartJack® System—a robust and reliable solution designed to stabilize crawl space beams effectively. As shown in the after photo, the galvanized steel columns, secured with adjustable brackets, lifted the floors to their original elevation.
