In Roseland, Gary had been dealing with ongoing moisture issues in his 1,600-square-foot crawl space. The area felt damp, and signs of organic growth had started appearing throughout the space—raising concerns about the overall health and condition of the home. Without proper protection, excess moisture was continuing to create an unhealthy environment beneath the house.
To restore and protect the crawl space, Travis, Jack, and Tyler first treated the affected areas with MoldX to remove existing organic growth and improve the environment beneath the home. The crew then installed a CleanSpace® vapor barrier throughout the crawl space to seal out ground moisture and help maintain a dry, protected space.
To further improve the home's efficiency and comfort, SilverGlo™ insulation was installed along the crawl space walls to help regulate temperatures year-round. As shown in the after photos, the crawl space has been completely transformed into a clean, sealed, and healthier environment with long-term protection against future moisture problems.
This client already had a sump pump installed in crawl space, but was looking to make his crawl space even drier with a vapor barrier, so he called Fortress Foundation Solutions. Our System Designer, Chris Wilmouth, went out and gave him and estimate, which our client accepted, and shortly after, Charlie Evans and his crew went out and put down our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier all along the inside of the crawlspace. Our client loved the result and look of his clean, dry crawl space!
In Waynesboro, Lucille had been noticing ongoing moisture issues in her 1,500-square-foot crawl space. The area remained damp and unprotected, creating concerns about mold growth, poor air quality, and potential structural damage beneath the home. During our inspection, we found standing moisture and poor drainage contributing to the unhealthy conditions in the crawl space.
Warren and his crew installed a complete moisture control system to permanently protect the crawl space. An EZ Flow drainage system was added to collect and direct water away from the area, while a SuperSump® system was installed to efficiently remove any incoming water.
To fully seal the space, the crew installed a CleanSpace® vapor barrier throughout the crawl space to block out ground moisture and create a dry, controlled environment. SilverGlo™ insulation was also added along the walls to improve energy efficiency and help regulate temperatures year-round.
As shown in the after photos, the crawl space is now clean, dry, and fully protected. Lucille can now enjoy greater peace of mind knowing the space beneath her home is sealed, healthier, and built for long-term protection.
This customer called Fortress Foundation Solutions to get an estimate on a full crawl space encapsulation. Skylar, one of our expert System Designers went out to the property to preform an inspection and provide the customer a quote. After review the proposal and asking a few follow up questions, this customer felt confident that Fortress was the right company to do the work.
A few weeks later one of our crews went out and completed the work. We installed our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier system to the crawl space, along with a Sedona Dehumidifier system to keep the moisture at bay! This customer was very happy with the end result and is glad to have his crawl space clean and dry!
A homeowner in McGaheysville, Virginia was dealing with a damp crawl space that was starting to affect the home’s structure, energy efficiency, and air quality.
We addressed the issue by fully encapsulating the crawl space with our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier to seal out moisture. SilverGlo insulation was added to help regulate temperature and improve efficiency, and a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier was installed to keep humidity levels in check.
The result, shown in the after photo, is a clean, dry crawl space that’s now a stable and healthier part of the home.
