My house was suffering from structural compromise, the crawl space was damp, and drafty. And i suspected there was mold. I contacted Fortress Foundation Solutions and Caleb came out for an estimate. Caleb and I hit it off immediately. After he inspected the crawl space he went over everything that needed to be done and found things I was not aware of. He showed me pictures and a short video to confirm what he had found including lots of mold. After deciding to go forward with the project, I met with Pete and his crew, Tim and Derek on the first day. They were amazing. They showed up everyday, on time and were very professional. Pete communicated with me every day, explained what had been done and what he was going to be doing next. These guys worked hard and made sure everything was done right. There were no shortcuts and they did a fantastic job. Fortress is the only company I would use for any foundation, crawlspace, or basement needs.

Crew showed up on schedule, communications was good. On-site management efficient, no surprises in following the design. After changing the indoor HVAC intake filter the house air quality improved visibly. We opted for the TM2 remote display of dehumidifier stats, which worked on first try. Nathan Owen along with Dakota W, Jayden and Jamal did a great job on waterproofing the wall at 3610 South Main in Blacksburg. A bitterly cold day but they hung in there....with frozen toes and hands.Non stop, hard workers who should be commended for their work ethic.

Great work by Jordan and his team. They finished the job as promised within one day and it looks great. These guys were highly professional and the communication top-notch. I also like they they added extra plastic covering as per my request due to health concerns and they also did an extra bit of work for me on the house where there was a hole in the wall. Fortress Foundation Solutions did an amazing job replacing the jacks in the crawlspace and installing additional support to correct a sagging floor. The team of Gus, Luis, Jorge, and Erick were on time and professional. Would definitely recommend them and use them again.

I haven’t even decided yet if I’m going to go with Fortress foundation but I can tell u one thing. If this world had more ppl like Caleb Stone we would be much better off. Caleb showed up early, more than ready for any questions or concerns we threw at him. Not only was he absolutely 100% professional, but he was very personable and easy to relate to and talk with. When he showed up here, he had all the latest gizmos and gadgets to surpass any expectation that we had. To say he was thorough is an understatement. When I told him I wanted to go under the house to inspect the foundation with him not only was he completely on board to answer all my questions and what if’s but he had an extra hazmat suit for me and gloves to make sure I was completely comfortable and well protected. After doing the inspection of my home, he spent 30 to 45 minutes, just educating us on our possible options and outcomes, with the understanding that we might not even go with his company. But not once did I feel rushed or on a time crunch. I can’t say enough about how well this company has prepared their employees with training, retraining, and education. Being a veteran on a set income, he went over payment options with me and even got me preapproved in under five minutes. To say the least I was impressed and more then happy to give away my 8k. They also do military discounts. This company was built by one man, local here and has grown 3 states wide. I truly look fwd to doing business with them. We had a pretty large crack in our basement foundation wall that was allowing a small amount of water onto the floor. They came and quickly remediated it. Professional and fast, I highly recommend this business for this type of scenario. The representative who came to inspect the area of concern was professional and provided a video to describe how they would address our particular issue. Great service!
