I cannot express in a full review how grateful I am for Fortress foundations. I had a terrible humidity and mold problem in my crawlspace after just one visit Brandon the coordinator that came out to give me the estimate was friendly attentive and answered all my questions whenever I have them, they not only exceeded my expectations, but they have gained a long life customer because I cannot see myself working with anyone else other than fortress foundation, the workers and installers that did the work for me. Did it in two days and did it very efficiently their names were Santiago, Ronny Senior, and Ronny jr. they were professional on time and did everything within the schedule. they communicated the whole time with me and they had no problems answering any of my questions I would 100% ask for those specific installers since they made the whole process and installation very seamless as someone that works in trades. I’m glad to see that they’re still a company out there that not only trains but hires technicians that are properly trained for their specific job and knowledgeable on what they do. I highly recommend this company for any of your basement crawlspace or foundation problems.

Travis, Jack, and Seth installed a system to jack my floors. Travis was good to work with and kept me informed and up to date one what was going on. I’ll request them again if I have any other work done by Fortress Foundation in the future.

Fortress recently completed a top notch from start to finish project for us. They added supports and beams to remedy the failing foundation support to our sunroom. We sought several estimates for the work and Fortress' explanation of what was needed presented by System Designer Eddie seemed most accurate and straightforward. We also greatly appreciated the lack of sale's pressure. The company's communication leading up to the work by other staff was great and the team of Nate, Mickey and Dakota who did the work was impressive. The team was knowledgeable, professional, thorough and all three seemed to genuinely enjoy their work. As the homeowners, we anticipated this home problem and its remedy to be a stressful undertaking, but Fortress conveyed confidence throughout that they could address the problem successfully and they did.

Crawlspace encapsulation job was very well done. Survey estimate and work crew all on-time. Survey was well detailed and the team answered all my questions.Workcrew was on-time. Answered all my questions and provided extra information. They followed the survey plan to the letter. Left the jobsite extremely clean.Very professional interaction, workmanship, and promptness experienced from the whole of Fortress. Completely satisfied with Fortress.

I was able to schedule a next day appointment with Fortress Foundations for what appeared to be a significant and worrisome problem with the cement floor in our crawl space. Cara arrived early (after confirming that we would be able to accommodate an earlier appointment) and was patient with my explanation, super friendly, and very knowledgeable. She advised that no remediation was necessary at this time and recommended how to keep tabs on the situation. While we did not need services this time around, I definitely know who I will be calling if we ever do!

Donnie came out to fix our condensation pump on our crawlspace dehumidifier. A+ service and perfect attention to detail.

"Todd was honest and forthright on the assessment of the project. He provided a few options of what Fortress Foundations could provide and walked me through my concerns. I have an older house with a dug-out crawl space. We ultimately decided to not install a new system and identified other mitigation measures. "I work with a medium sized real estate team that's been operating in the northern virginia area for over 30+ years. We consistently run into time-line issues and having our trusted network of contractors constantly learning about the process of a real estate transaction. Information I am sure they could live without. We had a total of 5 different contractors come out to Duke Drive in Alexandria, a listing we were under contract for. The job required sistering two floor joices in a tiny crawl space. All four of them declined to do the work. We figured the degree of difficulty didn't warrant them coming to sister two boards. Santiago came out the same day for an estimate, gave me a completion date and the work ended up being finished before the settlement date had to be pushed back a second time. Jon was also very responsive and quick to help me with the letter head required by the underwriters stating the job had been finished. All in all, starting a "real estate team" is such a great idea. Santiago knew the real estate process, I didn't have to explain it to him. He got the job done before a very short deadline and the entire process has been refreshing to say the least. I wish every type of large contractor would have a real estate team as you do. Keep up the good work!

The crew completed their job well, and I am pleased with how everything turned out. They also cleaned up well. 10 out of 10 feedback score! 

My bathroom floor was uneven, and I suspected the worst: that I needed foundation joist repair. I contacted Fortress Foundation Solutions and Eddie Salido inspected my bathroom floor and my foundation, and he concluded that my foundation joists and floorboards were in good condition. He said that I have a leaky toilet that has damaged the subfloor. He advised me to call a plumber and said he could probably fix the subfloor. I followed his advice, and I hired a plumber who will repair my leaky toilet and replace the subfloor.Mr. Salido was professional, polite, and knowledgeable about his profession. I strongly recommend Fortress Foundation Solutions.
