The crew began preparing the perimeter of the basement for the WaterGuard. Once the WaterGuard is in place, the crew then installed the Triplesafe sump pump. An outside discharge is also installed on the sump pump to allow the water to be pumped out of the basement.  We also followed in with drainage stone over top of the WaterGuard. This crushed stone allows the water to easily flow to the WaterGuard, and then to the sump pump. Once the system and the stone are laid, new cement is laid over the system to give it a finished look. The end result was a dry basement that would last years to come.

This includes applying a very sticky like glue to the wall and applying a carbon strip smoothly to the wall. This helps support the wall from coming in any further. Finally, Our crew installed Power Braces. These Power Braces are made to help stabilize and straighten the wall. These Braces go on the inside of the wall in the basement. They can also be tightened over time. The final result was a stable foundation for the the home. This also made the home much safer for the homeowners for years to come.

Our Foreman, Nick and his crew went out to this home to install this product. They begin by preparing the area for the SmartJack to be placed. One that is complete they clean out all the rubble from the area and being to get the Jacks in place. Once the SmarkJacks are in positioned properly, they then fill the whole with stone and cover the stone with Fresh cement.

The SmartJack system allows extra support to the area that needs it. This system gave these homeowners a piece of mind for years to come.   

This crawl space in had multiple issues that needed to be addressed.

This structure was very important to her and she did not want to loose the building.  Sarah made a call to Fortress sharing her concerns.  Skylar was sent out to her home to look at the structure and assess what could be done.  The bowing barn wall was due to the outside fill dirt freezing and thawing over time.  Skylar determined that to secure this wall and the barn structure nine PowerBrace piers would need to be installed.  These piers are specifically engineered and installed to prevent any further movement and can over time slowly straighten the wall they are supporting. Sarah B. was so relieved to know there was a solution for her barn. Now that the PowerBrace piers are installed she no longer has to worry about her barn falling in.
