Fortress Foundation Solutions Before & After Photos

This home in Wytheville had a basement with serious water intrusion issues. The homeowner reached out to Fortress for a solution to this problem.

Our System Designer, Scott Llewellyn, went out to assess this home and determined that the best solution would be to install our WaterGuard XL System along the perimeter of the basement, our CleanSpace Wall System, and a TripleSafe sump pump.

Our WaterGuard System is designed to capture any wall or floor seepage before it reaches the basement floor, any water will then drain to the TripleSafe and be pumped out of the home. Together these products will ensure that this homeowner will never again have to worry about a flooded basement!

In Wytheville, a homeowner reached out to us due to an ongoing moisture issue in their crawl space. Excessive humidity was causing mold growth, unpleasant odors, and wood deterioration. The solution? We installed our trusted CleanSpace crawl space encapsulation system and the ultra-efficient SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. These installations transformed the space into a dry, clean area, preventing mold and improving air quality. In Cripple Creek, the homeowner faced concerns over inward shifting walls, threatening the integrity of their foundation. Notice in the before photo, the visible signs of bowing were becoming more pronounced over time, leading them to contact Fortress Foundation Solutions. We effectively addressed the problem using our GeoLock Wall Anchor System®, securing the walls by embedding heavy-duty steel earth anchors in stable soil and connecting them to steel wall plates. As shown in the after photo, this solution not only stabilized the wall but also restored confidence and property value.

This basement in Bland, VA was having issues with water coming in after rain events. The water was making its was in where the wall and floor meet. Fortress Foundation Solutions was able to send our System Designer to visit the homeowners and conduct a solution for this issue.  

The System Designer knew the best solution would be our WaterGuard System. This system is place on the footer of the home around the perimeter of the basement. The system catches the water that comes into the home and directs it to our TripleSafe Sump Pump System where the water is then pumped out of the home.

Our crew installed the WaterGuard System designed to capture any water before it reaches the basement floor. The water is then drained away to the TripleSafe sump pump and pumped out of the home. The TripleSafe has two pumps ready for heavy rain and a third to operate off of a battery backup in case of a power outage. Together these products will ensure this basement will stay dry all year long in every circumstance!
