These homeowners are preparing their home to sell after they retire and move to the beach. System Designer, Scotty Love, met with the homeowners to hear their concerns and provide a solution that brings them peace of mind when listing their home in the future.
Our Foreman, Austin Dizon, and his crew installed our crawl space waterproofing solution which consisted of 3 Smart Sump pumps to remove any water that enters into their crawl space, a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier to keep the space nice and dry and our Clean Space vapor barrier to turn this area into a clean usable space.
Our client noticed some moisture in her basement, and on her block walls specifically. She gave us a call, and we sent out System Designer Skylar Beverage to take a look at her basement needs. After a thorough assessment of her home's unique situation, Skylar advised waterproofing using a WaterGuard system. The project was then handed off to Foreman Gary Lambert, who installed the WaterGuard system with his crew quickly and efficiently. Now, our client in Springfield won't have to worry about excess water in her basement, and she can have peace of mind restored!
This homeowner in Brookeville reached out to Fortress Foundation Solutions because they had a recurring issue with water seeping into their basement with rain and they wanted a permanent solution to this problem.
To best solve this issue, Fortress went out and installed WaterGuard along the perimeter basement walls, along with a TripleSafe Sump Pump System. These products will work together to keep this basement dry by catching any water seepage before it ever reaches the basement floor, and then channeling that water to the TripleSafe where it will be pumped out of the home and into the yard through an exterior discharge line. This homeowner will never have to worry about a wet basement again!
This homeowner was concerned about a musty odor coming from their crawl space.
Our System Designer, Curt Withrow, went out to their home to evaluate the situation they were having. He concluded that the crawl space would need a complete encapsulation.
With a plan set, Nick Mori and his production team came to the home and installed Drainage Matting, our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier, and Rim Joist insulation.
An Oilville, VA homeowner reached out to Fortress Foundation Solutions after discovering standing water and moisture beginning to damage their wooden floor joists. Moisture-saturated insulation was also falling down in the crawl space. How could this be happening? Plastic sheeting covered the ground. Isn't that protection enough? Most people don't think about the effects moisture has as it rises from the ground under their homes. If left untreated, the moisture can cause thousands of dollars' worth of damage over time. Our System Designers help educate customers on protecting their home by providing printed materials, using video media, through conversation, and of course, providing a free estimate for repair. This crawl space needed EZ Flow drainage, a Smart Sump Sump Pump, CleanSpace Vapor Barrier, and a SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier. EZ Flow directs groundwater to the Smart Sump, which pumps the water outside the home. The CleanSpace Vapor Barrier seals off the home from the damp/wet ground below. The SaniDry Sedona removes excess moisture, keeping the area dry and protecting the wood. A home is anyone's biggest asset. Why not protect it with a custom solution from Fortress Foundation Solutions?"
