Tim C. And Jayden were on time for their appointment with me to raise a concrete pad that had sunk down over 4 inches. They did a great job explaining the process and kept me informed as the work was going on. They performed the elevation of the concrete pad with no issues. Without me asking, they installed concrete caulk around the side of the raised concrete pad next to the house, including adding sand to the top of the caulk so it took on a closer coloration to the stonework surrounding the portion of the pad next the house. We are very pleased with their service and the results. Very professional and appreciated the communication throughout their work process.

We were very pleased with the work done on our basement. From the initial consultation that was very thorough and every detail explained to the crew that did the work. Everything was professional and all were super friendly. They did their best to keep dust to a minimum and cleaned up afterwards and finished in one day! They even followed up days later to make sure everything was ok still. Looking forward to finally having a dry basement! Would recommend!

Today was the day!! Nathan and Dakota came this morning to install a new support beam, 4 jacks and a sister joist. They were even able to jack my house/floor back to its original position closing all gaps and stopping all squeaky floors. Both great guys and HARD workers. I’ll never use another company for anything basementy!I haven’t even decided yet if I’m going to go with Fortress foundation but I can tell u one thing. If this world had more ppl like Caleb Stone we would be much better off. Caleb showed up early, more than ready for any questions or concerns we threw at him. Not only was he absolutely 100% professional, but he was very personable and easy to relate to and talk with. When he showed up here, he had all the latest gizmos and gadgets to surpass any expectation that we had. To say he was thorough is an understatement. When I told him I wanted to go under the house to inspect the foundation with him not only was he completely on board to answer all my questions and what if’s but he had an extra hazmat suit for me and gloves to make sure I was completely comfortable and well protected. After doing the inspection of my home, he spent 30 to 45 minutes, just educating us on our possible options and outcomes, with the understanding that we might not even go with his company. But not once did I feel rushed or on a time crunch. I can’t say enough about how well this company has prepared their employees with training, retraining, and education. Being a veteran on a set income, he went over payment options with me and even got me preapproved in under five minutes. To say the least I was impressed and more then happy to give away my 8k. They also do military discounts. This company was built by one man, local here and has grown 3 states wide. I truly look fwd to doing business with them. After the hurricane Helene swept through central Virginia our basement flooded. We knew we needed some help. Fortress Foundation Solutions has just concluded a three day massive overhaul of my old dug-out crawlspace/basement. Nathan, Dakota and Mikey were a pleasure to work with and they even mopped the floors behind themselves. They were very polite, cleaned up, and explained everything as they went along. They installed perimeter French drains, a new sump pump, a dehumidifier and new superior plastic sheeting to cover the earthen walls. The new sheeting has several layers designed to wick moisture and provide greater drainage. They stayed until the job was complete and until they were satisfied that we fully understood all that they had done. It looks great and I’m feeling much more secure.Update: August 2026My basement has remained dry through all kinds of wacky weather. My fears of future flooding have been abated and I feel much safer and able to use my dugout basement for storage. Huzzah!

Fortress did a great job on our slab leveling for our 3 bedrooom cabin. Nathan, and the crew, Tim G and Tim C know their profession well and it shows. Easy to work with 5 stars.
