From day one of my drainage and sump pump install, the Fortress team was fantastic. My basement had flooded several times and this was not a cheap project. I talked to 5 different companies before settling on Fortress.Disclaimer: I am NOT an easy customer when it comes to expensive projects like this. I read every fine print in detail and ask lots of questions, take my time on decisions, and cross compare between quotes and warranties etc. This can be annoying for a sales person, but Chris Wilmouth, took all of this in stride. He was direct and courteous and followed up in a timely manner with every question I had. When he didn't know, his manager was prompt in supporting him and they did a lot of work to make sure I was happy before signing the contract.On the days of the job, the team was also fantastic. Travis, Jack, Tim, and Kris were all kind and professional and did a really good job. I was home for the project and could also hear them talking all day. They got along great and figured out problems with the project in a timely manner. They remained professional and efficient throughout the whole project - all great qualities to see in a team working on your house!Last week, we had rains that would have flooded my basement again, but my sump pump kicked in and it all worked beautifully. Clean and dry!I would recommend this team again and when I'm ready for the next stage of my basement fix, I'll be calling them to do it.

I recently had fortress foundations do a major foundation stabilization to our home. From the very beginning this project went with out a hitch. From Danny coming and doing an assessment and estimate of the project to David and his crew coming and doing the work. They called to give us a time when to expect them. When David and crew got here they went straight to work. They understood our foundational issues. They were very respectful of our property and careful not to damage anything. I have worked around construction most of my life and these guys were great. They didn’t use any profanity and that was very refreshing and professional. I can’t give them enough compliments. If you’re needing this type of work done these people are the best. I would give them 5 stars.

I have a finished basement with one small room not finished. It has a dirt floor and was sealed with no ventilation. Combine that with a faulty gutter and you get mold! I got a quote from Fortress Foundations and another company. Fortress had a better price and they could move forward that same week. Fortress fixed the issue within a few days and their competitor could not get to it for 3 months. I am grateful it is fixed especially with all the rain we have been getting this summer. I've had to have them come out and do 2 jobs for me now and both times they were polite, professional and ready to answer anything questions I had along the way. I still have more work that needs done and will be calling them for that as well.

On February 11, I met with Eddie a systems designer with Fortress Foundations in Forest/Lynchburg, VA to discuss encapsulating my little over 1,000 sq. ft. crawlspace. It was in terrible shape with old insulation hanging down everywhere, I had rat issues, and was smelling mildew in the house. Very much needed to make my home healthier, and for my health too. I knew from reading reviews and then meeting with Eddie, who is very kind and thorough, that they were customer oriented. He spent a lot of time examining the crawlspace, taking pictures and thoroughly explaining the process and materials to be used. So I knew right away I did not need another estimate or company to do the job. Also financing was available, and a very easy process. So on Friday, March 6, installers, Scott, Jordan and Jamil from Fortress arrived early in the morning to encapsulate my crawlspace. As you can see by the before and after video the transformation of the crawlspace is amazing! A complete 180! They all were extremely hardworking, very polite and worked together so very well. At 8 pm that same day they finished with only the dehumidifer to be hooked up next week by a technician. Yes they worked almost 12 hours! So grateful for their efforts. So today, March 11, Kevin, the technician came by to finish up and set up the dehumidifier. Job complete! He too was hardworking and polite. He also told me he had been an installer, but now enjoyed what he was doing. I could tell. Once a year I will have them come back to change the dehumidifier filter, clean and check the system. It also has a five year warranty. Looking forward to a healthier home and lower electric bills too. I cannot recommend Fortress Foundation enough. If you are lucky enough to get Eddie, Scott, Jordan, Jamil and Kevin, then you got the dream team! If I could, I would give them 10 stars!

Fabulous experience! Right from the start the service we received was excellent. Brandon C. visited our home for the inspection and presented solutions. He was patient with all of our questions that day and over the next few days as we made our final decision. Our repair was scheduled quickly and the team led by Nathan O. arrived on time, kept me updated as the day went on, reviewed the project and left the work area clean. Should we require any future services that Fortress Foundation provides, we will definitely be calling and requesting the team of Nathan O., Dakota W, and Jamal.

Fortress did a great job adding support beams in our crawl space. From our estimate (Jamie) to the install team Travis and Jack and the plumber Mike who went above and beyond to help get the job done.

We used Fortress Foundation Solutions for an urgently needed sidewalk lift on a new home we recently purchased, to help movers safely transport our contents.Riley responded quickly and Fortress worked with us to schedule the work two days before the movers arrived. The whole Fortress team was great at communicating, educating on the product and the process of lifting the sidewalk.The day the work was done, we were driving to our new home in West Virginia, but Ethan, the foam foreman, called and talked us through the work, then called again when the job was done to inform on how the job went, and sent a photo to show us the result and advised on follow-up care.Great people, communication, professionalism and results.
