A homeowner in Sykesville, Maryland, noticed that her foundation wall was beginning to bow inward and had developed a small but noticeable horizontal crack. Upon inspection, we confirmed that hydrostatic pressure was causing the foundation wall to fail. We stabilized the wall using five CarbonArmor® straps. CarbonArmor is 10 times stronger than steel and helps secure the wall against further inward movement.
We then addressed the underlying water issue by installing a WaterGuard® drainage system and sump pump to collect and safely discharge water away from the home.
