Basement Waterproofing Before & After Photos

The basement of this home in Charlottesville had bad water staining from years of repeated flooding. The homeowner reached out to Fortress to see what could be done to get their basement waterproofed.

Our System Designer, Scott Llewellyn, went out to evaluate this home and recommended installing our WaterGuard XL System along the perimeter of the basement, along with our CleanSpace Wall System, and a TripleSafe sump pump.

Our WaterGuard System is designed to capture any wall or floor seepage before it reaches the basement floor, any water will then drain to the TripleSafe and be pumped out of the home. These products will work together to ensure that this homeowner will never again have to worry about a flooded basement!

This customer called Fortress Foundation Solutions with extensive water damage from a leaky basement. To solve this issue, Fortress installed a WaterGuard with a SuperSump Plus System.

This homeowner came to Fortress Foundation Solutions with severe water damage from repeated flooding.The damage was so extensive that the homeowner could not safely walk down their basement stairs. The Fortress Team solved this issue by installing a full perimeter WaterGuard with a TripleSafe Sump System. We also installed CleanSpace Wall Liner and a TrenchLock system to help release radon gas. Finally, we replaced the stairs so the basement would be safe to go into.

After having our System Designer come out to assess this home and determine the best waterproofing solution, Fortress sent a crew out to do the job. Our Foreman and his crew installed our WaterGuard System along the perimeter walls with a TripleSafe Sump Pump System. These products will continuously work together to keep this basement dry by catching any water seepage before it ever reaches the basement floor, and then channeling that water to the TripleSafe where it will be pumped out of the home and into the yard through a exterior discharge line. This homeowner will never have to worry about a wet basement again!

A System Designer met with her providing an inspection and free estimate. He was able to reassure Suzanne that our WaterGuard System can be installed around any obstacles without compromise. Soon a Fortress Waterproofing crew was onsite installing the system which included a full perimeter drainage system, a TripleSafe sump pump with back up battery and a SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier to remove excess moisture. The crew also installed trench drain around the fireplace, in front of exterior doors, and around the hot water heater and water softener, tying the drainage into the WaterGuard. Now Suzanne's basement is healthy, safe and completely dry!
