Basement Waterproofing Before & After Photos

Allen was dealing with water entering his Charlottesville basement during heavy rains. Tired of the constant cleanup and concerned about the impact on his foundation, he contacted Fortress Foundation Solutions for a permanent waterproofing solution. Cope and his crew installed a complete basement waterproofing system, including WaterGuard® drainage, two SuperSump® sump pumps, and CleanSpace® Wall. As shown in the after photos, the basement is now dry, protected, and equipped to handle future water intrusion with confidence.

This homeowner contacted Fortress Foundation Solutions because they had noticed their basement walls had started bowing inwards. Fortress went out to assess the issues this homeowner was having and reommended that they have us install our CarbonArmor Wall Reinforcing System. This system includes flexible carbon fiber fabric straps that are up to 10 times stronger in tension than steel. The greast thing about this system is that after the installation, you are still able to potentially finish your basement!

This homeowner gave Fortres a call because they had been receiving water into their basement but had no idea where the water was coming in from. One of our System Designers went out to inspect their home to see what the best solution for their home would be.

Jerome was dealing with two major basement issues in his Charlottesville home. Pressure from the surrounding soil had caused one of the basement walls to begin bowing inward, while water intrusion was creating additional concerns about the condition of the foundation.

To address both problems, Cope and his crew installed our WaterGuard® Basement Waterproofing System along with 12 CarbonArmor® Wall Reinforcing Straps. The WaterGuard® system helps keep the basement dry by capturing and directing water away, while the CarbonArmor® straps stabilize the wall and help prevent further inward movement

Our WaterGuard System is designed to capture any wall or floor seepage before it reaches the basement floor, any water will then drain to the SuperSump and be pumped out of the home. These products will work together to ensure that this homeowner will no longer have to worry about a wet basement!
