Mr. Brown bought his Alexandria home one year ago. Since moving in and adjusting, he noticed that the doors and windows don't close properly, and that there is cracking in bricks outside as well as in the drywall inside. After some quick Google searches, Mr. Brown realized that this could be a bigger issue than he initially thought. It was then that he called Fortress, based off of a recommendation from a friend. Kurtis, one of our System Designers went out shortly after and provided a detailed solution and estimate for Mr. Brown. He recommended a push pier system to correct the settling foundation that caused the cracking in the brick and drywall, as well as the doors and windows sticking. While he was there, Kurtis noticed some dampness in the basement. He included in his proposal to Mr. Brown an estimate for waterproofing his basement. Mr. Brown, wanting this to be his forever home for him and his family, went ahead with the push pier system as well as the basement waterproofing.The waterproofing included the installation of WaterGuard and CleanSpace. After the project was complete, Mr. Brown and his family had peace of mind that their home was safe, stable and healthy.
