This homeowner in Weyers Cave,VA called Fortress Foundation Solutions with concern about water coming into the basement along with a wall that was beginning to bow inward. Our System Designer was able to go out to this home and provide a permanent solution. Our Foreman,and his crew went to install the following products that were suggested by our System Designer. This solution included Power Braces. Power Braces help to support a weakened wall. This product prevents the wall from collapsing any further. Our crew also installed our Water Guard system. This system uses a sump pump to pump water out of the home through a discharge that is placed outside of the home. To insure no water comes into the home.
This homeowner in Greenville, VA called Fortress with concerns about a water coming into the basement. This water coming in also caused an unpleasant musty smell. Our System Designer, was able to go out to the home and give these homeowners a piece of mind with a permanent solution. The best way to fix this issue was installing our WaterGuard system, along with our Triplesafe sump pump. Our Foreman, and his crew went out to the home and began to install these products. The crew began preparing the perimeter of the basement for the WaterGuard. Once the WaterGuard is in place, the crew then installed the Triplesafe sump pump. An outside discharge is also installed on the sump pump to allow the water to be pumped out of the basement. We also followed in with drainage stone over top of the WaterGuard. This crushed stone allows the water to easily flow to the WaterGuard, and then to the sump pump. Once the system and the stone are laid, new cement is laid over the system to give it a finished look. The end result was a dry basement that would last years to come.
This home in Lyndhurst,VA was having issues with the foundation wall of their home bowing. Our System Designer was able to come out to this home and provide a free no obligate estimate. After a thorough look at this issue, the best solution would be our Carbon Armor system.
Carbon Armor Strips are applied to the wall with a super stick adhesive. They are laid on the wall to provide support to the minor bowing wall issues a home may have.
