Sumner is the Fortress Foundation Consultant who inspected our home to identify areas of weakness in our foundation support system. This was followed by an extensive educational presentation. Sumner took pictures to show us exactly where the issues existed and drew diagrams for proposed remedies. His presentation manual was an added bonus to our understanding. Minutes into the presentation, it was obvious that Sumner knows his stuff and was someone we could trust. All along the way, he validated our understanding of the work that needed to be done and answered all of our questions. On day one of the repairs, Scott was the foreman and on days 2-4, Warren was the foreman. They were professional and courteous as well. Once they introduced themselves and their co-workers, Dan, Jamil and Mickey they worked hard long hours in the summer heat to get the job done. Warren was conscientious about keeping us informed of the progress and answering our questions. On day 4, once all of the new supports were in place the jacking started to reinforce support to our home. Warren stayed inside to validate the effects of the jacking while remaining in communication with Mickey, the “Jacker”. It was truly a WOW moment when I watched a crack between the drywall and crown molding in our kitchen completely close.

Yes, the job was expensive, but we love our home and it really needed this operation. The professional, thoughtful and courteous conduct of the Fortress Foundation team was well worth the price and peace of mind that we now have.
