This homeowner in Stuart, VA called Fortress Foundation Solutions because they had water intrusion in their crawl space and floors in their home had started sagging down. 

After explaining all the issues they were having over the phone, we sent one of our System Designers out to take a look! He recommended our SmartJack Crawl Space Support System. This system provides solid support for undersized beams and restores stability and straightness to sagging floor joists in a crawl space. We also installed our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier to assure them that their crawl space would stay dry!

The chimney of this home in Earlysville had started to pull away from the home due to settlement of the foundation. The homeowner reached out to Fortress Foundation Solutions to get that area of their home supported and stabilized.

Fortress went out and installed 3 Helical Piers to not only stabilize that chimney, but also lift it back to it's original position! Once installed the area will be backfilled and the piers will not be visible. 

Fortress Foundation Solutions installed Smart Jacks in this crawlspace to keep the floors above from sagging. We also put up a Clean Space liner to keep out any moisture. 

This house in Lynchburg had a retaining wall that was cracking and bowing in toward the steps to the basement door. The homeowner called Fortress Foundation Solutions to see what could be done to prevent any further issues. A Fortress System Designer went to the home and assessed the issues. The System Designer decided that two GeoLock Wall Anchors were needed to secure the wall in place. Wall anchors work by extending from your wall to the stable, hard packed soil beyond your home. They anchor into these stronger soils and brace the foundation wall, preventing further movement. Wall anchors are installed with minimal disruption to your lawn, and they won't damage the interior of your basement or take up usable space. Now this wall is stable and will not continue to move!

This homeowner gave Fortress Foundation Solutions a call because they noticed their basement wall starting to bow in. Their main concern was making sure that the wall would not get any worse.
