The Fortress Team solved these problems by installing a full perimeter WaterGuard with a SuperSump Plus System. To solve the foundation issues, we installed six PowerBraces and ten CarbonArmor systems that will prevent any future foundation cracks and settlement.

Once Zach was complete with his evaluation, he knew the best solution to this issue would be our GeoLock wall anchor system. This system helps to stabilize the wall. This home in South Boston, VA was experiencing bowing walls in their basement. They also had some issues with moisture getting into the area through that wall. Our System Designer, Scott Llewellyn, went out to assess this home and determined that the best solution would be to install our WaterGuard XL System along the perimeter of the basement, along with a SuperSump sump pump. He also recommended we install 9 power braces to stabilize the walls and prevent further bowing.

Our WaterGuard System is designed to capture any wall or floor seepage before it reaches the basement floor, any water will then drain to the SuperSump and be pumped out of the home. The PowerBrace system permanently stabilizes your home's foundation walls. Zinc-plated steel beams are custom-fit to your basement wall height and secured tight against your basement wall with brackets anchored to your basement floor and floor joists. PowerBrace's can be tightened over time, potentially reversing wall failure without any invasive drilling or digging on the property.
