This homeowner in Fulton, Maryland had an issue with the front porch cracking due to its foundation settlement. The homeowner wanted to restore the porch and ensure that it was safe from further issues caused by settlement. They called Fortress Foundation Solutions for a permanent solution. Our system designer prescribed our Helical Piers to stabilize the sinking porch. Helical Piers have helical plates welded to the pier shaft to help to pull the pier into the soil during installation and provide anchoring strength as the weight of the foundation or structural element is transferred to the pier.
