Challenge
A cracking foundation can be very unsettling to homeowners. This home in Pulaski, VA had some stair-step cracks on their foundation, so the homeowner called Fortress Foundation Solutions to see what could be done. We sent our System Designer Scott Llewelyn out there to assess the situation. He decided the best option for this home would be our Push Piers.
Solution
Brian Davis, one of our Foremen, and his crew went to the home to begin the installation of the Push Piers. Push piers are installed next to the footings and attached with a heavy duty steel bracket. Soil is backfilled once the lifting and stabilization process is complete. This product provides a permanent solutions for settling foundations!
