Bowing Wall Repair Project in Elkton, Virginia
Challenge
Jodi and Jeff in Elkton, Virginia were dealing with a foundation issue that had clearly progressed over time. What may have started as small cracks had turned into a visibly bowing basement wall, with multiple horizontal cracks and sections pushing inward.
The wall had shifted enough to raise serious concerns about long-term stability, and they wanted a solution that would truly stabilize the wall.
Solution
After a full inspection, we designed a repair plan that combined multiple systems to handle the severity of the issue.
Nick and his crew installed 6 PowerBrace steel beams to provide strong, vertical support and immediately stop further inward movement. To reinforce specific areas along the wall, they also installed 4 CarbonArmor straps, adding additional strength to the walls.
