Challenge
Trey in South Boston, Virginia knew something wasn’t right when cracks started showing up across multiple basement walls. At first, it was just a few but over time, they spread, widened, and the walls themselves began to bow inward.
This wasn’t a small issue anymore. In some spots, the movement was clearly visible, and it only seemed to get worse after heavy rain. With multiple walls affected, Trey was understandably concerned about the safety of his home.
Solution
To stabilize everything, we installed a GeoLock® Wall Anchor system across all affected areas.
Toby and his crew installed 24 GeoLock® wall anchors, securing the walls to stable soil beyond the home. The system immediately stopped further movement and can be tightened over time to help improve wall alignment.
By the end of the project, Trey’s basement was fully stabilized. What felt like a major problem now has a solid, long-term solution—and peace of mind to go with it.
