Foundation Settlement repaired in Roanoke, Virginia
Challenge
Daniel in Roanoke, Virginia had started noticing signs that parts of his home were settling. Cracks were beginning to appear, and certain areas of the structure no longer felt as level as they once had.
Wanting to address the issue before it became more serious, Daniel reached out to Fortress Foundation Solutions for an inspection.
After evaluating the home, we found that foundation settlement was causing the structural movement and unevenness.
Solution
To stabilize the home and prevent further settlement, Toby and his crew installed 8 Helical Piers around the affected areas of the foundation.
These piers were advanced deep into stable soil beneath the home, allowing the weight of the structure to be transferred away from the unstable upper soils and onto stronger ground below.
By the time the project was complete, the foundation was fully stabilized and protected against continued settlement. Daniel now has long-term structural support in place and peace of mind knowing his home is secure moving forward.
