Basement floor repair in Stafford, Virginia!
Challenge
Ms. Wright is a homeowner in Stafford. Her father helped her build the house back in the ’90s, and they even poured the basement floor themselves. More than 20 years later, she was shocked when she started noticing cracks, tripping hazards, and unlevel areas throughout the floor.
She loves this house, and in fact, her grandchildren use the basement as their playroom. Stubbed toes and cracked tile aren’t safe, so she knew she had to do something.
Solution
Ms. Wright reached out to our appointment center, and they swiftly scheduled her with Troy, one of our very experienced system designers. He came out and evaluated her property, going inside and outside while double-checking measurements. He concluded that there were void pockets under the concrete slab due to washout over time. He knew this home needed a PolyLevel solution, or it would continue to sink and worsen.
Ethan was the foreman on the project, and he and his co-foreman, Samuel, spent two days carefully and effectively filling voids, compacting the soil, and lifting and leveling the slab. Ms. Wright’s grandchildren can now safely play in the basement again with no hazards and no concerns.
