This home owner called our office to see if we could help preserve "the bones" of their 1875 Victorian farmhouse. Our expert system designer, Skylar, was sent to do a complete and free evaluation.
Skylar quickly helped find a solution and our superintendent Nick took a few crews over to the property to "forever" brace the foundation with our EverBrace wall restoration system. The home owner can now continue the renovations knowing the foundation is secure for many, many more years to come!
Home is where your family is, and your pets! For one poodle owner, that meant wanting to correct the bowing walls in her basement in Frostburg, MD. With the help of our System Designer, Dave, and installation crew, the perfect solution was curated. We installed GeoLock wall anchors and Power Braces to support the walls and prevent future bowing. Additionally, we waterproofed the basement with our Water Guard drainage system and SuperSump sump pump. It is important to us to give our customers, and their furry friends, a dry and stable basement!
Fortress Foundation Solutions installed four SmartJacks under the back of an older home whose original supports were failing.
A homeowner in Bergton, VA was growing increasingly worried as one of their basement walls began to show serious signs of failure—deep horizontal cracks, bowing, and visible shifting. It was clear that the wall wasn’t just damaged; it was structurally compromised. They reached out to Fortress looking for a permanent solution that would truly restore strength and safety to their home.
After a detailed inspection, our System Designer determined that the damage had progressed beyond the point where standard reinforcement systems could help. We recommended our EverBrace™ Wall Repair System, designed specifically for severely failing foundation walls.
Our crew got to work by installing a series of steel corrugated panels directly against the damaged wall. These panels were anchored with heavy-duty I-beams and connected to the foundation slab and framing above, transferring the load of the home from the failing wall to the new support system. The EverBrace system essentially “rebuilds” the wall from the inside—without the need for a full tear-out or exterior excavation.
With EverBrace in place, the wall was fully stabilized and structurally sound once again. The homeowner no longer had to worry about collapse or worsening damage. The basement was safe, secure, and protected for the long haul. EverBrace gave this homeowner a peace-of-mind solution that restored both the strength and value of their home.
This home in Wytheville, Virginia was settling. Fortress came and dug around the home to install 6 Push Piers that would stabilize and support the foundation.
