This home in Madison Heights had started settling and sinking, causing cracking in the foundation. Fortress installed 4 Push Piers along the outside walls to stabilize and support the foundation.
This homeowner in Madison Heights reached out to Fortress Foundation Solutions because they had noticed signs of foundation settlement, and wanted to get that problem corrected before it got any worse.
Fortress went out to this home and installed our Push Pier System to support and stabilize that foundation. The Push Pier System ensures that the foundation will not settle any further, helps close cracks and improve function of windows and doors, and has the potential to lift the home back to its original level.
This homeowner in Madison Heights had cracking in their foundation and reached out to Fortress Foundation Solutions with concerns about their home's stability.
Fortress went out to this home and installed our GeoLock Wall Anchor System. The GeoLock Anchor System permanently stabilizes the foundation wall and, in many cases, can straighten the wall back toward its original position. Heavy-duty earth anchors are embedded in stable soil away from the foundation wall, and are then connected to steel anchors with long, galvanized rods. Once tightened, the anchors will hold the wall securely in its current position without any further adjustment.
This homeowner in Verona called Fortress because two of their basement walls were cracking and bowing. There were worried that the wall might collapse. Their basement was also extremely moist. This was causing the insulation to absorb water, grow mold, then fall because the water added too much weight for it to stay up. A Fortress System Designer went to asses this home and decided that the EverBrace Wall Restoration System and PowerBrace Supports were the best option to prevent further damage. Fortress Started by removing all of the moldy insulation and boarding up the window. Then, Fortress installed a CleanSpace Wall Vapor Barrier and three PowerBraces along one wall. Next, Fortress installed the EverBrace System on the worst wall to make sure that it would no collapse. Fortress finished this job by installing a SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier to dry out the basement and prevent future mold from growing. Both the EverBrace System and the PowerBrace supports are zinc coated to resist corrosion and stay pristine. Both can easily be concealed by drywall if the homeowners want to finish the basement in the future. No one would ever know that there was once a crumbling wall there!
The basement of this home in Rustburg had cinder block walls that were starting to bow inward and also had an issue with water intrusion.
Our System Designer, Paul Heckman, went out to assess this home and determined that the best solution would be to install a full perimeter WaterGuard XL system along with a TripleSafe sump pump to take care of the water intrusion issue. He also recommend our CarbonArmor strap system to stabilize and support the foundation walls.
Our WaterGuard System is designed to capture any wall or floor seepage before it reaches the basement floor, any water will then drain to the TripleSafe and be pumped out of the home. This homeowner can now rest assured that their foundation is stabilized and they their basement will be dry!
