My bathroom floor was uneven, and I suspected the worst: that I needed foundation joist repair. I contacted Fortress Foundation Solutions and Eddie Salido inspected my bathroom floor and my foundation, and he concluded that my foundation joists and floorboards were in good condition. He said that I have a leaky toilet that has damaged the subfloor. He advised me to call a plumber and said he could probably fix the subfloor. I followed his advice, and I hired a plumber who will repair my leaky toilet and replace the subfloor.Mr. Salido was professional, polite, and knowledgeable about his profession. I had an excellent experience with Fortress Foundations. After finding them on Google and seeing great reviews, I gave them a call to assess a foundation issue. The scheduling process was smooth from start to finish. The person who answered the phone was fantastic, and they were able to schedule me the next day (on Christmas Eve!).Scott Michaelsen came out to assess my foundation. He called to confirm my appointment and texted me with his arrival time. Scott was punctual, knowledgeable, and great to work with. He took the time to explain what he was seeing and offered thoughtful guidance. He was able to answer all my questions and spent nearly an hour walking around my property talking with me. I was extremely impressed with his knowledge and professionalism and would highly recommend asking for him personally to do your consult.Overall, this was a first-rate experience, and I highly recommend Scott Michaelsen and Fortress Foundations.

Joe was outstanding, thorough, professional, understanding and kind. That she can not say enough nice things about Joe and he is one of the nicest people she has ever met, and that he took the time with her so she would understand everything. Riley Ethier came to diagnose leak at the basement foundation. He did it very thoroughly, looked everywhere inside and out, found the source of leak was plumbing issue. He did awesome job . Very highly recommend to anyone who needs the excellent job to be done.

The man who assessed was very knowledgeable. He pointed out other issue with homes foundation as well and explained why it happened and what it will eventually lead to. The men who showed up were on time, polite and respectful. They worked diligently in the cold weather and they also explained to me each step and why. We were very pleased. This was a small patio that was sinking because animals had repeatedly dug under it over many years. The patio was about to fall and separate from the house. Thank you!

Fortress Foundation Solutions demonstrated exceptional knowledge, integrity, and value throughout my experience with them. They will not try to sell you something unless you truly need it, which is refreshing.I originally contacted FFS (along with two other foundation companies) after noticing what appeared to be a bow on the interior side of a foundation wall. I was concerned it might worsen over time. The other two companies provided quotes to “fix” the issue, but FFS (specifically Matt Miller) properly determined that the appearance was caused by the original concrete form bowing during the pour. He explained that it was not a structural concern and actually recommended that I not use their services, as it was a non-issue.Matt took the time to explain the reasoning behind his conclusion. I later confirmed his assessment by digging three feet down on the exterior side of the wall and verifying that it was not bowed at all. This experience demonstrated not only FFS’s superior knowledge, but also their integrity. They were willing to turn away work rather than recommend an unnecessary repair.To show my appreciation, I decided to redirect the funds I had originally set aside for foundation repair toward crawlspace encapsulation (something I had planned to do later but was able to move up on my to-do list). Sam, Nick, Tone, and Brian made the entire process seamless, and I couldn’t be happier with the results.
